Team Manager Writer Content Creator Front-end Developer Graphic Designer
More About Me
I am a results-oriented designer, manager and team lead with over 12 years of experience in digital marketing, CRM, UX, Design, SaaS, B2B, people management and other leadership roles. Led and managed Client Success Specialists and Web Designers in North America and India. Expertise in leading teams to improve performance, customer loyalty, and forging partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. Specializing in continuous process improvement, client retention, and facilitating project management life cycles. Extensive technical and professional experience includes content copy and technical writing, training materials, PR/communications, web design, and graphic design.
My background is in international relations and diplomacy and mediation; I naturally gravitate towards roles and responsibilities that let me work with people, honing relationships and communications towards the most advantageous and pragmatic outcomes.
Born and raised in the greater Seattle area, I grew up in a burgeoning high tech culture and the best of the natural world, side by side. Influenced by both the new and the old, I try to combine the best of both worlds when I work. There is nothing I love more than delving into something I've never experienced before and getting better as I go.
Hard skills you need to know about. These are my strengths, and what I'm learning over time.
There are so many applications out there, it's easier to list what I don't know. But since you're not here for that, how about what I'm best with?
Things that don't get a spotlight often, but I like to mention them anyway. When you want to know a person, this is a good place to start.
Having had a chance to use the following for data analysis and some weird math problems. Genuinely has made life easier for both of those situations, and the following is listed in order of both preference and experience.
In the professional realm of team management, project management, client success, web design, graphic design, and content creation, I've got over ten years of experience. These are the best highlights. For my full resume, please feel free to click that download button above, or visit my LinkedIn profile.

I wore many hats here: business manager, web guru, graphic designer, logo creator...I also made julienne fries. The best part was getting to try new things and see what happened. I've never had more freedom in a role to see where my strengths could be.
May 2013 - June 2014
One of the most amazing summer jobs I could ask for, and I really got to flex my muscles teaching kids from seven to seventeen how to code computer games and create websites. The best way to learn something is to teach it; that's for sure.

I started investing time in courses that would lead me to an MBA, but it is a long-term project of mine. I've done two courses so far, and am preparing for a third as soon as I can manage.

This is my foundation. What I learned here I bring to the table every day, in every way. There is never a time I don't find use for the things I studied here. (Also I had a minor in French, but who's counting?)
Over the years I've been able to work on projects both inside and outside my job requirements. These are the results of some of those projects.
I started designing websites when I was in high school. Dreamweaver was available on the only Mac we had in the classroom and I hogged it to death. From there I never quite departed from the practice, and honestly I am incredibly grateful that something I once thought of as a hobby is now an integral part of my career.
Whether it's freelancing, redesigning or creating whole new sites for clients, web design has been at the forefront of my current resume.
There are people out there who say 'Writing to me is like breathing.' Well I'm not quite like that, but I'm pretty close. I've used this skill for fun, for profit, for pleasure, since I was a child. I bring my talent with the written word to all corners of my professional experience.
I've written content for websites, business plans, messaging for advertisements, creative fiction, and much more besides. You name it, I can write it.
As much as I enjoy writing, the next best thing was art. While I still enjoy pencil sketching, I have evolved my skills to welcome the digital age. I familiarized myself with the Adobe Creative Suite as early as Photoshop 2, and went from that to Illustrator as soon as I could.
The boon of an artistic eye has been invaluable. The more experience I have garnered over the years, the more I have learned how to determine the quality of any user experience, whether it is in the visual medium or the written word.
Welcome to all freelance and other professional opportunities. Please feel free to reach out. I'll be waiting.
